Valrico FL Real Estate and Community Information
Florida is one of the greatest places in the world. Everyone knows it. Well, the almost 95 million visitors that drop by every year know it. And we can't blame them. We live here and can't believe the world of opportunities to explore and have fun that's available: Universal Orlando, SeaWorld, the Everglades, Busch Gardens, Magic Kingdom, Kennedy Space Center, Gatorland. We could fill the rest of this page with the wonderful places that can be found just driving around. But as anyone who lives here will tell you, there is so much more to Florida than Tampa, Orlando, Miami, Fort Lauderdale and all the other admittedly great places.
Take for instance, Valrico.
Valrico is far enough away from the state's more famous cities to not be overwhelmed with the tourism. In fact, its closest neighbors are Brandon, Sydney and Mango, more of Florida's great, if lesser known, counties. But they are all a hop, skip and jump away from Walt Disney World and the Castillo de San Marcos.
Not that Valrico doesn't hold its own. After all, it is Florida. That means promising opportunities in all aspects of lifestyle. For instance, like anywhere in Florida, you can't turn left without finding a golf course. Valrico is no slouch in that department. The Buckhorn Springs Gold & Country Club recently had all its greens, traps and fairways renovated, enhancing the already beautiful landscape. You can choose to enjoy the view as you work the links, or sit on the club's restaurant patio and enjoy lunch. The swinger can also play at the Diamond Hill Golf and Country or Bloomingdale Golfers clubs.
We highly recommend for wellness and spiritual therapy, you're going to want to check out The Salt Grotto. It's over in Brandon and offers halotherapy. But then, we love anything that's promotes wellness while we lay in a peaceful state! We also highly recommend the YMCA Campo Family. It requires a membership, but you can get a free month with a member's recommendation. With its friendly staff and broad range of activities and classes, you're highly encouraged to learn, play, exercise and stay healthy.
Fans of shows like Dancing with the Stars will get a kick out of Dance to My Rhythm. It's a fitness and dance studio that specializes in wellness through movement. You can sign up for private classes or join a class in salsa, ballroom or specialized choreography. They also offer wedding choreography and classes for kids and teens.
The town has primary and secondary schools, offering preschool through high school. This includes private and charter programs. The school district has an impressive student-to-teacher ratio, with the last recorded and highest number being 23:1. Great! Schools, an authority that rates schools by city based on a range of criteria, gives Valrico's school district an impressive 8 out of 10. Lithia Springs Elementary is especially noted for its programs and high rate of success.
Finding the Best Real Estate in Valrico
Finding a place to live will be one of the most important undertakings you'll ever engage in. When you contact Bethany Ezell and Kesia Thompson, you're putting yourself ahead of the game. We don't simply know where to find the best places to live in Valrico, we can work with you to make sure you're ready for such a major investment.
We'll show you how to make sure your credit is in good shape. You'd be surprised how many people learn they don't have the creditworthiness to get a mortgage. The alternative is they get stuck with an outrageous rate. We always tell shoppers to make sure they're credit score is good before looking for a house. Even if they have to take another six months before getting started, they need to give themselves time to correct issues in their reports.
Another glitch we've come across is shoppers whose expectations do not align with their finances. While there are plenty of resources, like online calculators, that can help determine how much you can afford to spend on a house, there are still people who believe they can get the house they want without considering the long term consequences. This includes mortgage, utilities, property taxes, insurance, repairs, maintenance and more. We often suggest shoppers get a pre-approved loan. This will help them — and us — get a better idea of what they should be looking for.
Once we have found you a great home, Bethany and Kesia will still be there. The negotiation process can be intimidating. Often it's better to work through unbiased intermediaries. But we'll help you checklist what would make the property more attractive, whether that's repairs or perks like laundry appliances. Our office will advise on finalizing a mortgage, home inspection, the pre-closing walk through and making sure that when it's time to close the deal, all parties have met their obligations.
